Obituary of Patricia B. Summers

Loving Mother, Grandmother, Aunt & Sister Patricia Bowden Summers, age 59, of Bridgeport, left this world to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Patricia was born in Jersey City, NJ to Franklin and Carrie (Montgomery) Bowden on August 11, 1950. She was an executive administrative assistant for General Electric with 38 years of service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband of 34 years James David Summers. She leaves to cherish her memory, two loving children, LaToya Jackson and her husband Benjamin, and Anthony Summers, cherished grandson Jayden, special nephew Terrence Bowden and his wife Renata, who was like her other son, sisters, Naomi Bowden and Sabrina Baskin, mother-in-law, Christalee Summers, sisters-in-law Margaret Hall and her husband Willie and Judy Owens and her husband Bob, several nieces and nephews and a host of grand-nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in Bethel AME Church, 150 Fairfield Ave., Stamford. Funeral Services will take place at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Winton M. Hill III officiating. Burial services will immediately follow in Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery, Stamford.
