Obituary of Carmela Mildred Sul

Lifelong Resident of Bridgeport Carmela Paternoster Sul, age 82, of Bridgeport, a retired cashier for King Coles and Waldbaums, died suddenly on Monday, July 14, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lucy Calabrese Paternoster. Mrs. Sul loved her family and enjoyed preparing Sunday dinners for them. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her beloved husband of 32 years, Edward Sul, two sons, Thomas Esposito and his wife Jennifer of Derby and Nicholas Esposito and his wife Debbie of Shelton, two daughters, Donna Esposito Lapke of Trumbull and Lucille Rummo and her husband Leonard of Stratford, three stepchildren, Edward Sul III of Shelton, Anna Faraese of Fairfield and Teresa Damore and her husband Ricky of Derby, a brother, Salvatore Paternoster of Sun City, FL, 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren who called her GiGi, Michael, Jenna, Matthew, Katie and Talia and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Albert and Michael Paternoster and two sisters, Mary Knox and Ida Pruzinsky. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margarets Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
