Obituary of Hilda Suita

Hilda Cassavechia Suita, age 96, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late John Suita, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 in St. Josephs Manor. Born in Ridgefield on March 1, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Nazzareno and Angelina Giaoccomini Cassavechia. During World War II, she worked at various defense plants to help out in the war effort and later was sales associate at the former Gimbels Department Store. Mrs. Suita was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Theresa Church in Trumbull. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Hiddlestone and Barbara Panton, a son, Joseph Suita, six grandchildren, Teshia and her husband Juan, Michael and his wife Sarah, Timothy, Tommy, Ashley and Angel, three great grandchildren, Matthew, Aidan and Mason, a brother, Anthony Cassavechia, two sisters, Viola Giannarelli and Dorothy Samuelson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
