Obituary of Steven C. Stempert

Resident of Stratford Steven C. Stempert, age 42, of Stratford passed away suddenly on Sunday, February 25, 2007. Born in Bridgeport on August 31, 1964, he was the beloved husband of nine years to Lori Aiello Stempert, and devoted father to Danielle N. Stempert of Fairfield. He was predeceased by his beloved baby daughter, Ashley N. Stempert; brother, John W. Stempert, Jr. and was the son of the late John W. Stempert, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Leona Ring Hapgood of Milford; his sister, Frances Stempert Worrol and her husband, Harry, of Milford; his sister Cindy-Lee Pekar of West Haven; his nieces, Sara Lee Pekar, Kaeley Pekar, Vanessa DuBois, and Lisa Stempert; his nephews, John W. Stempert, III and Joseph W. Stempert; and several great nieces and nephews. His loss will be felt by anyone who knew him. A graduate of Porter and Chester Technical School, certified as a master mechanic, Steven would only need a phone call from friends to fix their cars at anytime day or night. A generous spirit, Steven had a huge heart and would always give a hand to anyone who needed it. He was an avid fisherman, sharing that time with his young daughter, Danielle. He was a fan of the Mets and NASCAR racing and could be found thoroughly enjoying time with his family on any given Sunday. We love you and miss you and we know you will be our guardian angel. A Memorial Gathering celebrating Stevens life will take place on Thursday, March 1, 2007 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment Services will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for the benefit of his daughter through the funeral home.
