Obituary of Nicholas Braccio

Resident of Bridgeport Nicholas Braccio, age 97, of Bridgeport, a retired engineer for General Electric and Schick, died on Sunday, January 29, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by his devoted family. Born in New York, NY on September 16, 1908, he was a son of the late Modestino and Maria Campanaro Braccio. He was a member of the General Electric Quarter Century Club and the Mill River Country Club where he had been the oldest living member. Survivors include two sisters, Filomena Fildes of Bridgeport and Rose Marie Paulis and her husband, George of Trumbull, nieces and nephews, Maureen DeBlois and her husband, Daniel of Bethel, Brian Voytek of Bridgeport, John Fildes and his wife, Sharon of Chicago, IL, and Elaine Jankins and her husband, Larry of Boca Raton, FL, great nieces and nephews, Rebecca, John and Jamie Fildes and Shannon and Christopher Capezzali and several cousins. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Michael Braccio and a sister, Marie Voytek. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 10 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11 a.m. in St. Charles Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
