Obituary of Pietro Spinelli

Resident of Stratford Pietro Spinelli, age 75, of Stratford, passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Faeto, Province of Foggia, Italy on May 15, 1938, he was the son of the late Ralph and Angela Girardi Spinelli and came to the United States in 1958. He was a laborer for the Brick Layers and Trowel International Union for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed his time spent with his family and friends and could often be found having a good laugh with his friends at the Italian Club. Survivors include three sisters, Gina Petitti of Milford, Antonia Fazio and her husband Natale of Stratford and Lillian Coppola and her husband Guiseppe of Stratford, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother-in-law, Domenico Petitti. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 24, 2013 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
