Obituary of Nancy L. Bracci

Nancy Lorraine Hackett Bracci, age 59, of Stratford, formerly of East Haven, beloved wife of Robert D. Bracci, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 in Danbury Hospital. Born in New Haven on December 9, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Frederick G. Hackett and Lorraine Kanahan Hackett. Mrs. Bracci was a corporate secretary for Honeywell Corp. of Westport as well as an administrative assistant while employed by General Electric of Fairfield. She had also worked in the banking industry, employed by Union and New Haven Trust Co. as well as Woodbridge Bank and Trust. She was a former member of the Rainbow Girls at the Foxon Congregational Church in East Haven and was a multiple award winning sales representative for Tupperware Products. Among the many things in which she took joy were tending to her many roses and volunteering at the Baldwin Senior Center in Stratford where both she and her husband were members of the Baldwin Players ensemble, entertaining Stratford seniors and others with the groups many musicals and holiday related performances. In addition to her loving husband of 35 years, survivors include a sister, Peggy Hackett of East Haven, a sister-in-law, Maureen Jensen of Bridgeport, a nephew, Christopher Bowman of Ansonia as well as additional nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Shelton Road, Trumbull.
