Obituary of Mary M Spetrino

Resident of Bridgeport SPETRINO Mary Marrone Spetrino age 96, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday December 9, 2009 at St. Joseph Manor, Trumbull. Born in Brooklyn, NY on June 23, 1913, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Maria Benfanti Marrone. She was the first recording secretary of the Happy Go Lucky Club, a group of lifetime friends started back in 1934. She was a parishioner of St. Raphaels Church since she was a child and was also a member of Christ the King Alter Guild, the Society of St. Raphaels and St. Margarets Shrine Friendship Club. Mary was retired from Sikorsky Aircraft a Division of United Technologies Corp. and was also a member of the Quarter Century Club at Sikorsky. Mary was very devoted to her family, her love and dedication will always be cherished. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Patrick Patsy Spetrino, brothers, Joseph and Nicholas Marrone, a sister Vincenza Lombardo, brother-in-law, Michael A. Lanese and three nephews, Nicholas V. Lanese, Nicholas Marrone Jr. and Joseph V. Lombardo Jr. Survivors include her loving sister Anna Lanese of Trumbull, a sister-in-law, Katherine Marrone of Fairfield, nieces and nephews, Maryann Ramik and her husband Richard, Richard Lanese and his wife Bonnie, Vincent Lombardo and his wife Elaine, Lawrence Lombardo, Anthony Lombardo and his wife Donna, Alba Lanese, Katherine Serra, Midge Marrone and Mary Lynn Golaske and her husband Philip, as well as several great nieces and nephews. Aunt Mary through the mercy of God may you rest in peace. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday December 11, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Arrangements entrusted to the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
