Obituary of Josephine Olga Gentile

Stratford Resident Josephine Olga Magniarini Gentile, age 85, of Stratford, died on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Hellertown, PA on March 9, 1922, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ersilia Magniarini. Mrs. Gentile was an avid bingo player who was dedicated to the care of her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Raffaele Gentile, daughter, Patricia Haines and brother Albert Magniarini. Survivors include her children, Cecilia Lupo and her husband, Richard of Stratford, Richard Gentile of Stratford, Barbara Remetta and her husband, Kim of Milford and Patrick Gentile and his wife, Katherine of Shelton, two sisters, Clara Henninger and Julia Zambelli, both of Pennsylvania, son-in-law, Christopher Haines of Fairfield, nine grandchildren, Richard Jr., Alexandra, Michael, Brian, Brent, Nicholas, Matthew, Zachary and Kaitlin as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.
