Obituary of Marie L. Smeraglinolo

Marie L. Smeraglinolo, age 89, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late Vincent Michael Smeraglinolo Sr., died peacefully on Monday August 26, 2013 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Born in Bridgeport on September 22, 1923, she was a retired employee of Hawie Manufacturing for many years before her retirement. Marie was a volunteer at St. Vincents Medical Center and took great joy in helping others. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was pre-deceased by her son, Vincent Michael Smeraglinolo Jr. Survivors include two loving children, JoAnn Verespej of Trumbull and Frank Smeraglinolo of Bridgeport, six grandchildren, Michael Thomas and his wife Lori, Rebecca Ann, Amy Lynn and her husband Joseph, Jane Melissa and her companion Thomas, Mark and Christopher; five great grandchildren, Quinton, Kennadie, Joseph Jr., Jacob and Juliana, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.
