Obituary of Santa Silvestri

Santa Bauco Silvestri, age 74, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Hawe Manufacturing, died Sunday, October 24, 2004 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy on November 2, 1929, she came to the United States on Thanksgiving Day 1953 and was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Carolina Bauco. Mrs. Silvestri was a member of the St. Raphael Choir and enjoyed gardening. She will always be remembered for her love and devotion to her family. She was predeceased by her son Libio Silvestri.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 57 years Giuseppe Silvestri, a loving daughter, Liana Cerro and her husband John, a sister America Fratarcangelli and her husband Giuseppe all of Bridgeport, a aunt Eleonor Bauco ,a brother in law Americo Silvestri and his wife Lidia , a sister in law Caterina Ferrante, and three cherished grandchildren, John Joseph Cerro, Caroline and Deanna Cerro and eight nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at 8:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine Chapel, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
