Obituary of Marion Sherwood

Resident of Trumbull Marion Cordone Sherwood, age 90, of Trumbull, died on Friday, July 28, 2006 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 2, 1915, she was a daughter of the late Luigi and Loretta Carfagna Cordone. A graduate of the Butler Business College, she was the owner of the Sherwood School of Beauty Culture located at North Main Street in Bridgeport for 30 years. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Leck Brian Sherwood and a sister, Lucille Pacific. Survivors include her son, Lewis Brian Sherwood of Winscott, New York, two sisters, Antoinette Caselli and Rose Bargas, both of Trumbull, two grandsons, Christopher Sherwood of Stamford and Alexander Sherwood of Tampa, Florida. Funeral Information Friends can meet directly in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 200 Shelton Rd., Trumbull on Monday, July 31, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Nichols Village Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
