Obituary of Marion A. Sheehan

Marion A. Wallace Sheehan, age 87, of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Edward F. Sheehan. Born in Bridgeport on April 15, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Stella Wallace. Marion had worked as a crossing guard for the City of Bridgeport at the Jonathan Winthrop School with many years of dedicated service before her retirement. She loved the beach, especially Seaside Park and St. Marys By the Sea. Her greatest enjoyment and pleasure however was found in the time that she spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband of 62 years, Edward, other survivors include her son, Edward Sheehan and his wife Elizabeth of Dalton, MA, her five grandchildren, Anna, Matthew, Daniel, Jacquelyn and Sydney, a daughter-in-law, Diane Sheehan of Trumbull, a brother, Joseph Wallace of Oxford, a sister-in-law, MaryLou Sheehan of Bridgeport and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two sons, Timothy and Kevin Sheehan. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Doreen and Barbara as well as the VNS of CT, Trumbull for their care and compassion. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
