Obituary of Elvira P. Schallbruch

Resident of Shelton Elvira (Bunny) Misinonile Schallbruch, of Shelton, died following a short illness in the loving arms of her family on Monday, June 7, 2010. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Jennie Pasquariello Misinonile. A Shelton resident since 1952, Mrs. Schallbruch was a retired employee of Practical Automation. She was a dedicated parishioner of St. Lawrence Church and enjoyed making ceramics and spending time with her family. She was pre-deceased by her husband Howard E. Schallbruch, an infant sister, Clementine, a brother Louis Misinonile and brother-in-law Nick Piccirillo. Survivors include two loving daughters, Doreen Laucella and her husband Joe of Shelton and Donna Portalatin and her husband Nester of Florida, three brothers, Joseph Misinonile of Bridgeport, Fred Misinonile of Monroe and Umberto Misinonile of Bridgeport, three sisters, Susan Piccirillo and Rose DArchangelo, both of Shelton and Helen Martinez of Beacon Falls, three grandchildren, Shauna Laucella Dumas, Joe Laucella, both of Shelton and Anthony Portalatin of Florida, three great grandchildren, Abby and Cali Laucella and Joey Dumas as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Friday, June 11, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Shelton for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lawn Cemetery, Shelton.
