Obituary of Kathryn Savoie

Kathryn (Kitty) Ketchum Savoie, age 69, of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Ivan R. Savoie, passed away at home on January 20, 2014. Born in Milford on May 24, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Norma Bushey Ketchum. Mrs. Savoie enjoyed dancing and playing cards. But above all she dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Survivors include a son Gary Savoie and his wife Donna of Shelton and a daughter, Lisa Maldonado and her husband Alexander of Bridgeport, four grandchildren, Christopher, Shane and Danielle Savoie and Nicholas Maldonado, a brother, George Ketchum and his wife Kathleen of Shelton, brother-in-law, John Venditti of Florida, and her half brother, Arthur Michaud and his wife Lori of Stratford, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by brothers, Lawrence and Edward and a sister, Arlene Venditti. Funeral Information Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends and relatives may call on Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
