Obituary of Rose M. Santossio

Rose Capuano Santossio age 90, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on August 23, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Amalia Giannattasio Capuano. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great enjoyment in cooking and caring for her family. She was predeceased by her devoted husband Domenick A. (Don) Santossio, three brothers Joseph, Guido and Anthony Capuano and a sister, Carmela Saccardo. Survivors include her four loving children, two sons, Neil Santossio and his wife, Rose of Monroe and Donald Santossio of Bridgeport; two daughters, Joan Dudko of Fairfield and Amelia Stamos of Bridgeport, four cherished grandchildren, Traci Montefusco and her husband Robert, Randy Santossio, Jennifer Hoben and her husband, Todd and Jaime Batista and her husband, Luis; three adored great grandchildren, Nicholas Jon Hoben, Kyle Domenick Hoben and Lily Grace Batista, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. till the time of service.
