Obituary of James P. SaNogueira

James P. SaNogueira, age 86, beloved husband of Angelina Carpinelli SaNogueira, died on Monday, July 8, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Ludlow, MA on November 8, 1926, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria Fidalgo SaNogueira. Mr. SaNogueira was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. Before his retirement, he was a school teacher, counselor and principal for the Bridgeport Board of Education. Mr. SaNogueira graduated from Central High School, received a Bachelors Degree in Education from Southern Connecticut State College and a Masters and 6th year degrees from Fairfield University. He had many interests including travel, sports and language arts. In addition to his wife of 65 years, Angelina, survivors include his children, Jim SaNogueira and wife Amy, Mark SaNogueira, Lori Beucler and husband Robert, brother, Gil SaNogueira and wife BJ, sister, Lolly Seman and husband Edward, 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren as well as many, brother and sisters in law, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Edward and Orlando SaNogueira. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family members at a memorial gathering that will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull from 2-5 p.m. Committal will be private in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport.
