Obituary of Lucy Salito

Beloved Aunt Lucy Portanova Salito, age 98, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late Emil Salito, died on Monday January 11, 2009 at Cambridge Manor, Fairfield. Born on October 31, 1911 she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Delfina Capozziello Portonova. Mrs Salito was a retired employee of Wellner Insurance Agency. She was a loving aunt who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by a brother, Daniel L. Portanova and sister in law Lucy Portanova and a sister Delphina Ruggiero and brother in law Anthony Ruggiero. Survivors include her loving nephews and niece, Anthony Portanova and his wife Diane of Woodbury, Daniel D. Portanova and his wife Agneta of Trumbull, John Ruggiero and his wife Carol of Naugatuck and Patricia Ruggiero and Susan Moore of Trumbull as well as several great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 10:30 am in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull and at 11:00 am in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends can greet the family on Thursday morning from 9:00 am until the time of service.
