Obituary of Dianne Ryan

Resident of Fairfield Dianne Merly Ryan, age 61, of Fairfield, died on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 in Norwalk Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Bridgeport on November 3, 1946, she was a daughter of Antoinette Fiorenzio Merly of Trumbull and the late Joseph Merly. She was employed at Home Depot for 16 years and had previously worked at Bryant Electric. In addition to her mother, survivors include a son, Fred Ryan and his wife Elizabeth of Newtown, a daughter, Deana Wellington and her husband Chad of Beacon Falls, a brother, James Merly and his wife Kimberly of Fairfield, two sisters, Joanne Copida and her husband Roderick Jr. of Milford and Doris Albanese and her husband Louis of Shelton, two grandchildren, Haley and Katie Ryan, many nieces and nephews, her dear friend Kelly Grasso as well as many other devoted friends. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nursing staff and to Dr. Richard Zelkowitz at the Whittingham Cancer Center for their compassion and care. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport.
