Obituary of Eileen Russell

Eileen Helen Michaelson Russell, age 66, of Shelton, an interior decorator, died on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on September 20, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Evelyn Gardner Michaelson. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and enjoyed antiquing, dancing and working in her garden. Survivors include her husband Thomas Russell, two sons, Thomas Russell and his wife Luz of Derby and John Russell and his wife Nelida of Trumbull, a brother, Ernest Michaelson, a sister, Maureen Pierce, five grandchildren, Jacquelynn Russell, Meghan Russell, Loreen Nieves, Juan Mercado-Russell and Joel Mercado-Russell, three great granddaughters, Alexiah, Cassidy and Isabella. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Frederick and Donald Michaelson. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Jude Church, Monroe for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Monroe Center Cemetery, Monroe.
