Obituary of Richard R. Ruesch

Devoted Father, Son, Brother, Uncle Richard R. Ruesch Jr., age 46, a self employed contractor, of Woodbury and formerly of Monroe, died on Friday, July 28, 2006 in Waterbury Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Bridgeport on December 6, 1959, he was a son of Mary Ferraro Ruesch of Oxford and the late Richard R. Ruesch Sr. Richard lived in Monroe for 20 years, Southbury for 10 years and Sandy Hook before settling in Woodbury. He was a member of the Masuk H.S. Class of 1977, and graduated from the Colonial School of Drafting and Design. Richard took great pride in designing and building many homes. He had a great love of football, outdoors, and enjoyed motorcycles, but his greatest love was his children. He touched many hearts and always made those around him laugh and smile. Richard was a devoted father, son, brother and uncle and will be sadly missed by all. In addition to his devoted mother he leaves to cherish his memory, three loving children, Richard III, Ronald and Jamie Ruesch all of Woodbury, a brother, Donald Ruesch and his wife Gloria of Prospect, four sisters, Candice Davies of Newtown, Evelyn Mainiero and her husband John of Oxford, Karen Mucherino and her husband John of Monroe and Noreen DiChaira of Cheshire, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Prayer services will take place on Tuesday, August 1, 2006 at 12:45 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Shelton. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12 p.m. until the time of service
