Obituary of George T. Romano

George T. Romano, age 50, of Bridgeport, passed away suddenly on Monday, March 24, 2014 at his residence. Born in Bridgeport on January 13, 1964, he was a son of Yolanda Puglisi Romano of Bridgeport and the late Peter C. Romano. George was a graduate of Harding High School and was most recently employed by the Connecticut Post. He was an avid Yankees, Miami Dolphins, UCONN Huskies fan and also enjoyed watching NASCAR. George was a devoted son, brother and uncle, who will always be remembered for his ability to make people laugh. In addition to his beloved mother, Yolanda, survivors include two brothers, Thomas G. Romano and his wife Deborah of Stratford, Peter J. Romano and his wife Gail of Milford, five nieces and nephews, Lii, Peter, Erica, Nicky and Gia, four great nieces, Isabella, Adrianna, Avery and Jayanna and a dear friend, George Onze. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Thursday morning from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service.
