Obituary of Michael A. Ritz

Bridgeport Resident RITZ- Michael A. Ritz, Jr., age 24, of Bridgeport, walked with the Lord on Thursday, March 9, 2006, after a long childhood illness. He is at peace, happy and all smiles. He is greeted by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bonaventura who he loved and missed, they predeceased him into eternity. He is also predeceased by his great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bonaventura and Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Gabrielle. They where all there to welcome him home along with his many aunts and uncles. Michael touched many peoples hearts and lives with his beautiful smile and his sparkling green eyes. His friends are abundant and will always be remembered, especially Joey, Martin, Tito, Gongee, Shawn and Tim. Michaels wishes where to say thanks to his extended Connecticut Hospice family, for the care and compassion they showed. Especially Tammy and all the agencies that made Michaels last days at home comfortable, they made his wish come true. He leaves his mother Laura Bonaventura Dawdy, who he loved and admired, a brother, Andrew Ritz both of Bridgeport, his father Michael A. Ritz Sr. of Rhode Island. He also leaves with great sadness his very dear friend Rosa Mercado and her daughter Ileana, who he will always treasure. He also leaves his aunts and uncles, Joyce Birch and her husband Michael Sr., Angie Ward and her husband Charles, Mark Bonaventura and his wife Debbie, great aunt, Mrs. Josephine McFarland and many cousins, far, near and in between. We will always love you and miss you forever! Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Holy Rosary Church, 365 East Washington Ave, Bridgeport, on Monday, March 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Sunday, March 12, 2006 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
