Obituary of Carmine Bossio

Carmine Bossio, age 71, beloved husband of Mary Ann Tamburrino Bossio of Stratford, a retired barber and retired employee of the Feroleto Steel Co., died Friday, July 2, 2004 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Calabria, Italy on December 25, 1932, he was a son of Adelina Bossio of Stratford and the late Pasquale Bossio. A resident of Stratford for 40 years, Mr. Bossio enjoyed dancing, music and flower gardening. In addition to his wife and mother, Mr. Bossio is survived by two brothers, Joseph and Gino Bossio, all of Stratford, a sister, Fay DeLorenzo of Newtown and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 12:00 noon in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
