The family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the medical staff of 9 North, at St. Vincents, who for seventeen months took such outstanding care of the queen of 9 North, and who became part of our extended family during this difficult time in her life. Audrey was a lover of animals, including her dogs Rusty,Samantha, Lucky, Rags, and Oliver. She liked flowers, reading, old movies, TV dramas, and shopping for clothes. Most of all, she loved birthday parties and Christmas, believing we should keep Christmas in our hearts the whole year round. More importantly, she was a kind and giving woman, full of love for, and completely devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She taught us so many things, but most perhaps, about strength, courage, and the joy of life. She was the heart and soul of her family any of our accomplishments, whatever they may be, would not have been possible without her love, guidance, and support. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed.
