Obituary of Kenneth D. Raslavsky

Shelton Resident Kenneth D. Raslavsky, age 55, of Shelton, a key account manager for the North Atlantic Division of the Whirlpool Corporation, died suddenly on Friday, August 24, 2007 with his beloved wife by his side in Williamsburg, Virginia. Born and raised in Bridgeport, he was the son of the late John and Sophie Olzacki Raslavsky, and was a Shelton resident over 22 years. Ken was a graduate of Sacred Heart University, and began his career as a salesman at Mel Hart Appliance, then progressed to manager. In 1981, he moved to the Frigidare Corporation, then joined Maytag in 1984 which was later acquired by the Whirlpool Corporation. He was a former member of the Brownson Country Club, and a member of the Whitney Farms Mens Club. He was an avid golfer, and always loved to be out playing with his friends. In addition to his parents, he was also pre-deceased by a sister, Maryann and his father in law Frank Yuditski. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Eileen Yuditski Raslavsky, two brothers, Edward Raslavsky and his wife Cynthia of Las Vegas and John Raslavsky and his wife Patricia of Stratford, his loving mother in law, Laura Yuditski of Shelton, and several nephews and many devoted friends. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
