Obituary of Victor Gallucci
July 27, 2011 World War II Veteran
Victor F. Gallucci of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Trumbull, passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 in Boca Raton with his beloved wife Angela and nephew Atty. Marc Anthony Gallucci at his side. Victor was born in Bridgeport to the late Silvio and Josephine D'Angelo Gallucci. He served his country with pride and honor during World War II in the U.S. Army. He was an entertainer with the USO and performed with many of the legendary stars of the era. Known as Vic Valente, he was an accomplished vocalist and bass player whose passion and love for music entertained so many over his lifetime. Victor was also an executive chauffeur with Warnaco. He is survived by his brother Ben Gallucci; in-laws Jay Guastella, Tony Barone, and Mary Gallucci; nephew Atty. Dante Gallucci and nieces Carol G. Sabatelli and Sylvia M. Ketron. Funeral Information
A Memorial Mass celebrating his life will take place on Monday, August 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, 365 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Inurnment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield Donations Information
