Obituary of Jeffrey R. Quinn

Jeffrey R. Quinn, age 52, of Trumbull, CT, died suddenly on June 30, 2006. Born and raised in Fitchburg, MA on June 28, 1954, he was a son of the late John Sullivan and Pauline Victoria DuVarney Quinn and was a U. S. Navy veteran. Jeff was employed for 26 years with Muehlstein, a global distributor of plastic and rubber polymers based in Norwalk, CT. He began as Traffic and Warehousing Supervisor in Muehlstein's Massachusetts facility and thereafter held increasingly more responsible positions, including Sales Representative (in Texas and California), District Sales Manager (in Texas and Massachusetts) and, ultimately, Business Manager in Muehlstein's Norwalk headquarters, where he served on the Company's Leadership Team. Jeff counted many colleagues as close friends, and considered Muehlstein his extended family.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Smith Quinn, two sons, Jeffrey Michael Quinn and Michael Jeffrey Quinn, a daughter, Jennifer Elizabeth Quinn, two brothers, John Douglas Quinn and Jay P. Quinn, both of Massachusetts, four sisters, Ruth Quinn of Masschusetts, Judith Mallard of Florida, Patricia Soblotne of Virginia and Cynthia Richard of Florida as well as several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, July 6, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
