Obituary of Hugo F. Provenzano

Owner and Operator of Hair's Hugo Hugo F. Provenzano Sr., age 74, of Shelton, the owner and operator of Hairs Hugo, died on Monday, August 11, 2008 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on April 17, 1934, he was a son of the late Angelo and Anna Varisco Provenzano. A U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict, he was previously a Monroe resident for many years. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Monroe, a member of the Highland Country Club and the Trinacria M.A. Society. He was pre-deceased by his wife Doris E. Millo Provenzano, four brothers, Joseph, Frank, John and Leonard Provenzano and a sister Mary Stefanko. Survivors include two sons, Hugo Provenzano Jr. and his wife Clisse of Monroe and Mark Provenzano and his wife Suzanne, a brother Paul Provenzano and his wife Dorothy, a sister Diane DeGruttolo and her husband Andy, all of Trumbull, five grandchildren, Juliana, Dominick, Vincent, Gianni and Gabriella and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. The Trinacria M.A. Society will exemplify a ritual at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
