Obituary of Dorothy K. Pratt

Loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother Pratt- Dorothy K. Pratt, age 84, of Trumbull, a home maker, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday morning September 11, 2010 at her home in Middlebrook Farms. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Esther OReilly Sexton. She formerly resided in Orange and Fairfield before recently moving to Trumbull. She was an avid animal lover and humanitarian and had volunteered at Animal Haven and St. Vincent DePaul for many years. She was an unassuming and generous woman, a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She was predeceased by a son, Walter W. Pratt, and her son in law, Walter Samor. Survivors include her beloved husband and boyfriend of 64 years, Walter J. Pratt, three daughters, Barbara Samor of Prospect, Donna Aiken and her husband Gary of Monroe and Sandi Bailie and her husband Scott of Monroe, seven grandchildren, Cindy Lyon, Christopher Samor, Ryan Aiken, Tyler Aiken, Shauna Aiken, Ashley Nolan and Brittany Nolan, four great grandchildren, Alexandra, Zachary and MacKenzie Lyon and Macayla Samor. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull, on Tuesday September 14, at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. There will be no calling hours.
