Obituary of Lina Pontonio

Lovong Mother & Grandmother Lina Vitulano Pontonio, age 89, of Trumbull, died on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in St. Josephs Manor. Born in San Severo, Province of Foggia, Italy on March 17, 1920, she was a daughter of the late Carmine and Philomena Paglia Vitulano. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Vincent Pontonio, a daughter, Phyllis Covelluzzi, a brother, Anthony Vitulano and her grandson, Vincent Pontonio. Survivors include two sons, Anthony Pontonio Sr. and his wife Connie of Trumbull and Carmen Pontonio of Rocky Hill, three sisters, Anna Paglia and her husband Marino, Mary LAltrella and Gina Klein and her husband William, all of Bridgeport, a son-in-law Dominick Covelluzzi of Bridgeport, grandchildren, Lynn Bozzi and her husband Stephen, Lisa Tuozzoli and her husband David, Anthony Pontonio and his wife Cheryl, Dino Pontonio and his wife Liza, Lisa Pontonio, Joseph Covelluzzi, Albina Bennett and her husband Michael and Michelle Lesko and her husband Jeff, great grandchildren, Daniel Tuozzoli, MacKenzie Pontonio, Dylan Pontonio, Lauren and Sophia Bennett and Meghan and Grace Lesko, as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4- 7 p.m.
