Obituary of Edward J. Pollack

Edward J. Pollack Jr., age 51, of Shelton, loving husband of Judith Argel Pollack and devoted father of Bryan E. Pollack died suddenly on Friday June 22, 2012 at Griffin Hospital. Born on August 31, 1960 in Bridgeport he was the son of Edward Sr. and Joan Migasko Pollack. He was an underground inspector for the United Illuminating Co. with 28 years of dedicated service. An avid supporter of the Merrimack Lacrosse Team, Ed was the master at organizing the greatest tailgate parties. He was also a member of the St. Josephs Athletic Association. An active member at Calvary Evangelical Free Church, he was active in many ministries but took great pride in building the sets for the childrens ministries. But above all he treasured his time spent with his family especially his wife and son. Ed was a loving husband, father, son and brother who will be deeply missed. In addition to his loving wife of 28 years, Judy, his cherished son and his parents, survivors include three sisters, Jo-Anne Pallacovitch and her husband Dean of Naugatuck, Donna Taylor and her husband Mike of Bridgeport, Karen Williams-Benedict of Canada; his father-in-law, Raymond Argel of Shelton, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. directly in Calvary Evangelical Free Church, 498 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
