Obituary of Jennie H. Poidomani

Jennie Incato Poidomani, age 83, of Fairfield, died on Saturday March 21, 2009. Born in Bridgeport on June 15, 1925, she was a daughter of the late John and Lucy Caruso.

A retired employee of the Jewish Home for the Elderly, Jennie enjoyed her many trips to the casino, playing the piano, but most of all she loved the time spent with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, George J. Poidomani, a son-in-law, Donald Mazas Sr., and three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her loving daughters, Jeanette Paraska, and her husband Eugene of Fairfield, Dolores (Dee) Mazas of Prospect, Arlene (Lee) Boyhan of Shelton, and Debra LaRose and her husband Craig of Oxford; two sisters, Maria Caruso of FL and Esther Barba, of Stratford; six grandchildren, E.J. Paraska, Donald Mazas, Jr., Danielle Estes, Shawn and Heather Boyhan, and Craig LaRose Jr.; eight great grandchildren, Angela, Eugene III (Trey), Donald III, Michael, Gabrielle, Nathan, Jackson, and Stephanie, as well as several nieces and nephews and her canine companion Baby. 

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday March 24, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
