Obituary of Elizabeth Pisacreta

Resident of Bridgeport Elizabeth Montouri Pisacreta, age 79, of Bridgeport, died on Thursday, June 25, 2009 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Sala di Serino, Province of Avellino, Italy on November 6, 1929, she was a daughter of the late Nunzio and Anna Rosaria Montouri. She will fondly be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Guiseppe Pisacreta, four children Susan Lauro and her husband Wayne of Bridgeport, Pellegrino Pisacreta and his wife Barbara of Newtown, Michael Pisacreta and his wife Vivianne of Monroe and John Pisacreta of Bridgeport, two brothers, Nicola Montouri and Armando Montouri and his wife Yolanda, four sisters, Maria Gambardella and her husband Giovanni, Madalena Festa and her husband Modestino and Rafaella Montouri, all of Italy and Rosa Della Ferra and her husband Donato of New Jersey, two sisters-in-law Carmella Pasacreta of Trumbull and JoAnn Pisacreta of Shelton, seven grandchildren, Lisa Sosa and her husband Virgil, Amanda Lauro, Joseph, Gina, Michelle, Amy and Michael Pisacreta as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m.
