Obituary of Helen Pilarski

Trumbull Resident Helen T. Pilarski, age 90, of Trumbull, died on Sunday, July 23, 2006 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Mount Carmel, PA, she was a daughter of the late Teofil and Angela Gebauer Prostko, and was a Trumbull resident over 42 years. Mrs. Pilarksi formerly owned and operated the Howard Beauty Salon, Bridgeport. She was a member of the Polish Falcons of America and volunteered for the Kennedy Center and St. Joseph Manor. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking and card playing. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Ignatius Pilarski, a sister, Catherine Rogevich and a brother, Joseph Prostko. Survivors include her two daughters, Theresa Pellegrino and her husband John and Margaret Pepin and her husband Ron, all of Trumbull, four sisters, Genevieve Jason of Philadelphia, PA, Sr. Jane Mary Prostko and Rita Strecker, both of Mount Carmel, PA and Josephine Binkowski of Derby, six grandchildren, John I. Pellegrino, Lorin Pellegrino and his wife Elizabeth, Alan Pellegrino, Ronald Pepin Jr, Anthony Pepin and Joseph Pepin, a great grandson, Lorin Andrew Pellegrino, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. John Cemetery, Stratford. There are no calling hours.
