Obituary of Esterina Picarazzi

Bridgeport Resident Esterina Sementilli Picarazzi age 90, of Bridgeport, died on Friday, December 19, 2008 at St. Vincent Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Ripi, Province of Frosinone, Italy on December 10, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Andrea and Angela Maria Ceccacci Sementilli. Mrs. Picarazzi was a seamstress for many years before her retirement. She enjoyed making homemade pasta, cooking for family and friends, sewing, winemaking and gardening. She was a mother, grandmother and friend to everyone who met her. She was predeceased by her beloved husband; Francesco Picarazzi, a son-in-law; Marcello Lisi, a brother; Umberto Sementilli and a sister; Anita DiPalma. Survivors include her daughter; Gina Lisi of Trumbull, two sons and daughters-in-law; Louis and Rossana Picarazzi of Stratford, and Anthony and Cheryl Picarazzi of Winchester, Kentucky, seven cherished grandchildren; Robert Lisi and his wife Donna, Michael Lisi and his wife Linda, Rita Russo, Philip Picarazzi and his wife Laura, Angela Pitcher and her husband Charles, Frank Picarazzi and his wife Elizabeth and David Picarazzi and his wife Kathy, 11 great grandchildren; Alexandra Lisi, Gabriela and Gina Russo, Julia and Rose Lisi, Charles, Jonathan and Emily Pitcher, Lydia Picarazzi, James and Eva Picarazzi as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Raphael Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in St. Michael Chapel Mausoleum, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
