Obituary of Barbara A. Petretti

Resident of Bridgeport Barbara Steel Petretti, age 78, of Bridgeport, a retired employee of Remington Shaver, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Bridgeport, CT on March 26, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Alexander and Josephine Truchon Steel and step daughter of the late Louis Mulhall. Barbara will be fondly remembered as a gentle and kind person who always gave of herself for others. Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, Henry P. Petretti, two brothers Frank Steel and Louis Mulhall, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews as well as many dear friends. She was pre-deceased by three brothers William Mulhall, Robert and Andrew Steel and a sister Harriet (Sue) Ivanko. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Andrew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
