Obituary of Ines Perez

Ines Silva Perez, age 90, of Trumbull, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, died on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at Carolton Convalescent Hospital. Born on April 20, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Zacharia and Maria Silva-Cardona. She moved to Connecticut in 1947 and resided in Trumbull for the past 21 years. Mrs. Perez will always be remembered for her devotion and care for her entire family. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Eladio Perez and brothers and sisters, Luciano Silva, Concepcion Cintron, Margarita Cruz, Carmen Aponte and Andrea Lozada.

Survivors include two daughters, Gladys Martone of Westport and Mazie I. Perez-Muniz of Trumbull, five brothers and sisters, Jennie Silva of California, Carlos Silva of Bridgeport, Pedro Silva of New Jersey, Gina Melendez of Texas and Francisco Burgos of Florida, six grandchildren, Mary Hunte, Carolyn DelMedico, Craig Martone, Matthew Martone, Armand Muniz and Michael Muniz, six great grandchildren, Katherine, Christian, Ryan and Marc Mrozek, Cayleigh Martone and Andrew DelMedico as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Park Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
