Obituary of Mary Perrini Perachio

Monroe Resident Mary Perrini Perachio, age 91, of Monroe, a retired executive administrator for Van Doren Convalescent Hospital, died on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 12, 1921 in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late John and Nicolina Petitti Perrini. During her employment at Van Doren, she was a proud member of the Quota Club. Mrs. Perachio was a master gardener who loved the arts, antiques, and dancing at the Ritz Ballroom with her late husband, Raymond. Survivors include her three loving sons, Robert Perachio and his wife Maureen of Newtown, Dennis Perachio of Clinton and John Perachio and his wife Karen of Monroe; six grandchildren, Diana, Jonathan, Robert, Devri, Matthew, and James; four great grandchildren, Lucy, Hiro, Jonathan and Ana; two brothers, Leonard Perrini of Newtown and Richard Perrini of SC, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, she was predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey. Funeral Information Friends can greet the family on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 3-7 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Services will take place on Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
