Obituary of Raymond Perachio

Raymond Perachio, age 97, of Monroe, a retired engineer for Dresser Industries, died on June 15, 2011 in his home with his family by his side. Mr. Perachio was born on February 17, 1914 in Bridgeport, on Charles St. the son of the late Carlo and Santina Varese Perachio. During his employment at Manning Maxwell & Moore, he proudly started and played on the company softball team. Mr. Perachio was a master gardener who loved the arts and antiques, and dancing at the Ritz Ballroom.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 67 years, Mary Perrini Perachio, three sons, Robert Perachio and his wife Maureen of Newtown, Dennis Perachio of Clinton and John Perachio and his wife Karen of Monroe, seven grandchildren, Diana, Jonathan, Robert, Devri, Matthew, Jeffery and James Perachio, a great granddaughter, Lucy, and many nieces and nephews. He was pre deceased by a sister, Laura Yuditski. 

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St John Cemetery, Monroe. Friends may call on Friday from 4-7 p.m.
