Obituary of Raymond E. Patrick

U.S. Army Veteran Raymond E. Patrick, age 80, of Bridgeport, the beloved husband of Doris Gallant Patrick died peacefully on Friday November 13, 2009 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on March 28, 1929 he was a son of the late George and Mary Tomchik Patrick. Mr. Patrick was a retired National Sales Representative for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield with 26 years of service and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. A graduate of Stratford High School class of 1947, he was a member of the Stratford Oldtimers Association, and served as a past President of the Blue Horizon Club at Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield and was an avid sports fan that truly enjoyed his time on the golf course. Mr. Patrick was an active parishioner of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Trumbull, serving on the Church Counsel for many years and was currently serving as an usher. He enjoyed trips to Prince Edward Island, Canada, where he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his beloved wife of 58 years, survivors include his loving son Attorney David H. Patrick of Hopewell Junction NY, four brothers, William R. Patrick Sr., of Stratford, Ronald Patrick of Oxford, George Patrick and his wife Patricia of Southington and Richard Patrick and his wife Diane of North Port FL., as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
