Obituary of Rose M. Palumbo

Devoted Aunt Rose M. Palumbo age 88, of Bridgeport, died peacefully on Sunday June 23, 2013 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on March 18, 1925 she was one of three daughters of the late Michael and Frances Rua Palumbo. Rose was a retired executive assistant for S & S Tobacco of Norwalk. She was a loving and caring sister-in-law and aunt who will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by a two sisters, Louise Connelly and Mary Arbas. Survivors include a brother-in-law, John Connelly of Bridgeport as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly in St. Margaret Shrine, 2523 Park Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will follow in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. There will be no calling hours.
