Obituary of Cecilia M. Paladino

Cecilia M. Paladino, age 96, of Woodmont, CT, beloved wife of the late Anthony Joseph Paladino Jr., entered into rest at home with friends and family at her side on February 2, 2011. Born in Norwalk, CT on July 13, 1914 to the late Jerraro and Itala (Pasqualoni) DeMaio, Mrs. Paladino was raised in Southington, lived in New Britain and was a resident of Milford for over 60 years. She along with her late husband owned and operated the Palladium Hotel, a summer retreat, located in the Myrtle Beach section of Milford.

A devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she is survived by a sister, Phyllis Paladino of Southington, a daughter, Janice E. Caserta and her husband Fred of Trumbull, a son, Anthony John Paladino and his wife Joy of Milford, grandchildren, Alyssa and Ashley Paladino, Fred R. Caserta and his wife Dawn of Stratford, Carolyn J. Caserta and her fiance Aaron Deglow of Kentucky, Denise Paladino of West Haven, Donnie Paladino and his wife Sandy of California, great grandchildren, Leo and Mason Caserta along with nephews, Richard Paladino and his wife Chris of Southington, Paul DeMaio and his wife Janice of Farmington, Richard DeMaio, John Izzo of Texas and dear friend Diane. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Evelyn Izzo, brothers, Anthony and Harry DeMaio and a son, Donald Paladino.

Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Milford. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3-6 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
