Obituary of Hilda T. Pagnozzi

Hilda Silva Pagnozzi, age 88, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Amel Pagnozzi, passed away on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in New Bedford, MA on March 4, 1924, she was a daughter of the late Augusto and Mary Martins Silva. Mrs. Pagnozzi enjoyed her many trips to the casino but lived for the care of her family. In addition to her husband, Amel of 64 years, survivors include a daughter, Noreen Douglas and her husband Mark of Trumbull, grandson, Mark Douglas, Jr., her sister, Cloe Silva of Bridgeport, a nephew, Glenn Ferrante and his wife Robin, great nephew, Jeff Donaldson and his wife Amanda and their son, Tyler as well as several additional nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Richard Pagnozzi, a brother, Joseph Silva and a sister, Andie Lombardi. The family would like to extend special thanks to Hildas doctors and the ICU nurses especially Michelle for their care and dedication. Funeral Information Friends are invited to meet directly in Christ the King Church, 4700 Madison Ave., Trumbull on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. There will be no calling hours.
