Obituary of Evelyn J. Bocchino

Loving Mother & Grandmother Evelyn Donato Bocchino age 78 of Monroe and formerly of Bridgeport, died suddenly on Sunday June 13, 2010 in her home. Born in Bridgeport on March 9, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary Trapasso Donato and was a member of the St. Margaret Shrine Ladies Guild. Evelyn was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was always devoted to the love and care of her family. She will be deeply missed. She was predeceased by her husband Samuel V. Bocchino, a grandson, Jesse Harding and two brothers, Joseph and Ralph Donato. Survivors include five loving children, Jeanne Bocchino of Florida, Christine Desautels and her husband Michael of Hamden, Samuel J. Bocchino and his wife Linda of Shelton, Michael Bocchino of Shelton and Joseph Bocchino of Monroe, 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Brewer of Bridgeport and Rose Saja and her husband Edward of Oregon, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday June 16, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret Shrine, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
