Obituary of Anthony Orzechowski

Resident of Trumbull Anthony Orzechowski, age 95, of Trumbull, beloved husband of the late Mary (Babe) Roncaglione Orzechowski, died peacefully on Monday, July 20, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Mount Carmel, PA on November 21, 1913, he was a son of the late John and Stella Orzechowski. A retired employee for General Electric with 40 years of service, he was a gentle, quiet man who loved time spent with his family. Survivors include a daughter Jean Marie Johnson and her husband Fred, a son John Orr and his wife Debi, all of Trumbull, two granddaughters, Dana Johnson and Lauren Justis-Orr, a special sister-in-law Ann Orr, his godchild and caregiver, Kathy Flood of Trumbull, special nieces and nephew, Anna Mae, Carolyn, Janice, Susan and Thomas as well as many great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by three brothers John, Joseph and Edward Orzechowski and a sister Anna Pulaski. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stuart Miller, Julie and Suzy for their compassionate care and friendship and also the 7th Floor Staff at Bridgeport Hospital for their wonderful care given to Anthony and his family in their time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, July 22, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull and at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
