Obituary of Mary L. Oppedisano

Mary L. Oppedisano, age 50, of Bridgeport, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Born in Bridgeport on August 26, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Dominick and Carmela Vecchio Oppedisano. An avid amateur photographer, Miss Oppedisano volunteered in the Bridgeport area helping people with addictions. She was a former employee of Savoy Linen in Stratford and Connecticut National Bank.

Survivors include a brother, Louis Oppedisano and his wife, Carol of Milford, niece, Lindsey Oppedisano, nephew, Louis Oppedisano, Jr., devoted cousins, Annette Clift, Joanne Szadeczky and Elizabeth Banks, her best friend, Mary Ann Gentile, friend, Diane Civitelli, as well as several additional cousins and a close group of devoted friends. She was pre-deceased by a brother, Michael Oppedisano. 

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. from the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mark Church, Stratford for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4-8 p.m.
