Obituary of Natalie Onorato

Natalie Santako Onorato, age 87, of Trumbull, beloved wife of Frank Onorato, died peacefully on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at St. Vincents Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport on July 7, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Marion Miller Santako. Natalie was a retired employee for the Town of Trumbull Public School system. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening, a good mystery novel and watching Law and Order. Natalie and Frank enjoyed a wonderful married life of 64 years together, they created many treasured memories that will live in his heart forever. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who took great pride in the love and care of her family. But above all else, she cherished the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Karen Onorato and a brother, Donald Santako. In addition to her husband, Frank survivors include a loving daughter, Natalie Onorato and her companion Walter Kirdzik of Naugatuck, two cherished grandchildren, Stephanie Dwy and Matthew Onorato and his wife Jamie, a brother, Roger Santako of Trumbull, a sister, Marion Weunnemann and her husband Otto of Monroe and a sister-in-law, Marlene Santako of Trumbull. The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Manuel Pun, Dr. Cafaro and the Nursing Staffs at both the CHF Clinic and on the 6th floor at St. Vincents Medical Center for the love and compassion they showed during her time of need. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
