Obituary of Zilda Fernandes Oliveira

Zilda Fernandes Oliveira, age 75, of Bridgeport, died peacefully on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Cambridge Manor. Born on November 20, 1933 in Lisbon, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Anibal and Carolina Freire Fernandes. She was a retired employee of the Vishay Corp. Zilda was a loving mother, grandmother and dear friend to many, she will be sadly missed. Survivors include two loving children, Pedro Oliveira and his wife Ana Cardoso of Bridgeport and Suzana Oliveira of the Netherlands, two brothers, Mario Menezes of France and Carlos Alberto of Portugal, two cherished grandchildren, Matthew Oliveira and Nuno Cardoso and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Relatives and friends can greet the family at a memorial gathering celebrating her life on Saturday, December 13, 2008 from 3-5 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Prayer services will take place at 4:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
