William Paul Ochsner, 58, of Trumbull, husband of Parris (Louvitakis) Ochsner, passed away on December 22nd, 2011 at his home in Trumbull, CT, surrounded by his loving family. He advanced to the positions of President of Derco Aerospace, a subsidiary of Sikorsky located in Milwaukee, WI and also Chief Operating Officer of Sikorsky Aerospace Service. Billy retired in 2010 after a lifetime of faithful service to the company. Billy married Parris in 1975, several days after his college graduation, and they had two beautiful daughters, Corrine and Danielle. An active and devoted father, he showed support for his daughters in all aspects of their young and adult lives. He dedicated his time and energy as president of the Pisces swim team, as a USA Swimming official and as a proud observer of many swimming competitions and dance recitals. Billy was an avid motorcycle and sports car enthusiast and he spent many weekends taking great pleasure riding his Harley with his close friends. He also took pride in completing meticulously planned home improvement projects and training his son-in-laws to do the same. Billy built his dream retirement home in Cape Cod and cherished the time he spent there relaxing and enjoying life with his wife, family and more recently, his granddaughter, Cora. Patient, thoughtful and gentle, Billy will be profoundly missed by all who knew and loved him. He would want all of his friends and family to strive to live each day to the fullest, to appreciate all that you have, to remember not to sweat the small stuff and to always be kind and good to one another.
